March 10th, 2015 meeting.
We heard from Dr. Abdallah, a certified chiropractor, today talk about his research and view on vaccines.
Dr. Abdallah spoke about how he decided to research vaccines after hearing a chiropractor speak about vaccines at a chiropractic seminar. Before hearing the speaker he viewed vaccines as necessary for preventative medicine. At this time, he was expecting his first of four children. He was currently studying in school and didn't have time to research, so he gave the task to his wife. When his wife came back to him saying that what she found led her to not want to vaccinate, he had to research for himself. He thought there was no way she could come to this conclusion. After doing his own research, he came to the same conclusion. All four of his children have never been vaccinated.
He emphasized in his presentation that researching vaccines is something that each parent must do on their own. That facts and evidence against vaccines don't convince people, but their own studies can. He recommended a book. called Vaccines: Are They Really Safe and Effective? He also recommended visiting the website of Dr. Tenpenny as good places to start your research. In addition I would recommend visiting the National Vaccine Information Center website and going straight to the CDC website. Look for vaccine ingredients and the side effects from vaccines.
During our discussion we brought up international travel. Some countries may require you to vaccinate before traveling and calling the American embassy and doing your own research will help you decide where to travel safely and what vaccines might be required. We also brought up the subject of "Big Pharma", that markets for a profit with deception and falsified studies. And the fact that vaccines origins were of good intentions. Along with the idea and intentions of vaccinating for disease prevention is good willed at the core.
We spoke about how the Bible shows us ways to be healthy and build good immune systems with proper hygiene and healthy diets. In addition we acknowledged that God's design of our bodies is perfect and He has made many resources for healing of disease. We talked about how many diseases were eradicated before the introduction of their vaccine, discrediting vaccines for defeating the disease. Also, we talked about how many vaccinated kids get the very diseases they are vaccinated for and often times their sickness is worse than if they had caught a "wild strain" naturally.
Many other topics were briefly covered such as: vaccine-injury, how different people can handle different level of toxins in their system, school exemptions (including university requirements), respecting each parents to choose but fighting for the rights for that choice and more.

Meeting 1: What is Virtuous?
Meeting 1 (recap): Defining Virtuous
The first meeting was mostly about getting to know one another. We will have deeper studies to come soon!
Scripture:
Proverbs 31:10 Who can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far above rubies. We are focusing on the first part of this verse. As an opening to this group, we want to define virtuous and how we, as women, can serve the Lord as mothers and wives.
Discussion questions:
1.What does Virtuous mean?By definition, virtuous means: having or showing high moral standards.
In Biblical context, virtuous means strength
So the verse translates: Who can find a woman of strength.
We discussed how virtue is something earned, that we must actively seek, not something given to us by God. This is why Proverbs 31:10-30 is a poem a mother writes for her son describing what kind of woman he must seek for his wife.
